Overview

In this module, we discuss the basis and many examples of cognitive bias. The primary sections include the following

• Basis: Perspectives on the basis of cognitive bias. These are also lenses through which you can view the subject to help you develop a more organized understanding along the way
• Social: Cognitive biases that have a social component
• Memory: Cognitive biases that occur in the context of memory
• Interpretation: Cognitive biases that occur in the context of interpretation, estimation, and prediction
• Decisions: Bias that occurs in the context of decision-making
