Cognitive Bias
Summary
A general overview of the module
Great work! You reached the end of this module on cognitive bias.
Here we began with a discussion of the basis of cognitive bias including a discussion of evolution, physiological arousal, identity, and aversion. Next we discussed many examples of bias within two large categories, social and memory biases. We then concluded with a discussion of many more kinds of bias in the context of two task categories, interpretation and decision-making.
